TURKEY TROT A HUGE SUCCESS
Our second annual Turkey Trot 5K Family Run/Walk drew over 500 participants, with baby strollers, dogs, and imaginative team names setting the tone of the day.
Breakfast prepared by Early Riser Kiwanis was a welcome treat for all; the winners in each of the age/gender brackets were excited to receive their “turkey” ribbons!
Hats off to an extraordinary planning committee – chaired by Brenda Wong…and many many thanks to all our sponsors!
December, 2009
FINALLY!!!! The 2009 Turkey Trot results are here! We extend a HUGE thank you to the over 550 walkers and runners who participated as well as to our sponsors and volunteers. We had over 25 teams registered. The team award was given to the team with the most people. This year the winning team was ASB Falcons/Gobbletrotters, with 24 team members
Due to the wonderful number of participants, we were only able to time the runners or walkers who asked to be timed. The timed top finishers are shown. Contact Pam Clifton, 530-218-4536 if you would like a complete list of timed runners.

*We apologize for an error at the presentation of awards just after the run. The top female award was given to Kym Crosby, with a time of 22:29. We had assumed that Kobi Tobin, whose time was 20:51 was a male, as the gender was not marked on the entry form. It turns out that Kobi is a female and therefore had the winning female time. We have since also presented Kobi with a top finisher basket. Great run, ladies!
We would not be surprised to find that we have made some errors in the spellings of names and placement of times due to incomplete or illegible registration forms…..Sorry! Feel free to contact us with any corrections you would like for us to make.
